If you haven’t yet, make sure you install the SLING TV app on your Roku.
Once that’s finished, follow the steps below to quickly start your subscription and begin watching all of your favorites on SLING!

What You’ll Need:
Roku Player or Roku TV
Your mobile device
A valid credit or debit card
Launch the SLING app and select Start 3 Days Free Trial (available offer may vary).
Use your Roku remote to enter your mobile number on the screen, and we’ll text you a link to finish signing up for SLING TV (Message and data rates may apply).
Note: It can take up to 5 minutes to receive this text message.
Follow the link in the text message to finish signing up:
Choose your programming and Extras
Enter your email address and create a unique password
Enter your billing information
And that’s it! You’re now signed up and ready to start checking out all of your favorite movies and shows on SLING!
Once you’re finished signing up, you’ll automatically be logged in to your new account on your Roku Player or Roku TV.

Why do I need a credit card for a free trial?
We ask that you put a credit/debit card on file when signing up so that if you decide to keep your subscription beyond your free trial, no action will be needed by you. You’ll automatically transition to a paid subscription.
Don’t worry, we won’t charge your card until the end of the trial period.
I don’t see this experience on my Roku; what can I do?
We’re only releasing this new experience on a percentage of Roku devices to start.
Eventually, this new signup experience will be available on all Roku devices and on other devices compatible with SLING TV.
In the meantime, if you’d like to start a subscription, you can still sign up through your Roku by following on-screen instructions, or by visiting sling.com.
I’m new to SLING; where do I go from here?
Once you finish signing up, your Roku will automatically sign in your new account, and you’ll be taken to the My TV screen. My TV is where you’ll set your favorite channels, manage your Cloud DVR recordings, pick up watching shows started earlier and more.
Just want to watch some TV? At the top of your screen, scroll over to either On Now or Guide.
On Now will show you everything currently airing on channels you’re subscribed to, broken down by genre. Guide will allow you to see what’s available live and On-Demand from the channels you’re subscribed to, using either our Grid or Channel views.
Where do I go to make changes to my subscription?
Add or remove programming, update your billing information, manage your devices and more by logging in to the My Account tool using the same email and password you entered when signing up.
I didn’t get the text message; what can I do?
If you didn’t receive the text message when signing up, try the following steps:
Give it a few minutes
The text message can take up to 5 minutes to arrive
Make sure you entered your mobile number correctly
The message confirmation screen will show the number we sent the text to. If your number was entered incorrectly, you’ll need to relaunch the SLING TV app on your Roku and restart the process
Resend the message
Hit OK on your Roku remote to resend the text message
Make sure your mobile device is able to receive text messages
Check your mobile device to make sure you’re not in Airplane mode, and that any Do Not Disturb settings are turned off
