If you believe that someone may have gained unauthorized access to your Sling account, you can check the device history on your account by logging in at sling.com and selecting Device List under the Personal Information section. Here, you can see the device type, unique ID as well as the first and last used dates for every device where your account has been used.

Seeing unfamiliar devices on the list? Start by changing your password to make sure that no other unauthorized users are able to access your account. Next, you can also sign out of all devices that are signed in to your account to disconnect any unknown users.

To change your password, log in to your account, then from the My Account page, select Change Password from the Personal Information section. Use the boxes to enter your current password, then enter your new password twice. Finally, select Change Password to confirm.

Sign Out of all Devices

Before signing out of all devices, make sure you've first changed your password. To sign out of all devices, log in to your account, then from the My Account page, select Device History from the Personal Information section. Select the SIGNOUT OF ALL DEVICES button. 

Once you've selected the SIGNOUT OF ALL DEVICES button, you'll be returned to the My Account page, where you'll see a confirmation message.

Please note that it can take up to ten minutes for all devices to be signed out.

I'm seeing an error after signing out

Certain devices will display an error after they have been signed out using the SIGNOUT OF ALL DEVICES button. 

Note: You'll still be signed out of the device, and in most cases, no action will be required. See below for details:

  • Roku, Amazon, Android and iOS devices: An message with the error code 10-50 will appear when launching the app. Dismiss the error, and you'll be able to sign back in to the app

  • AirTV Player: When opening the app after signing out, it may appear as though you're still logged in, however, nothing within the app will be functional. Attempting to watch programming will result in a black screen. Selecting the Back button at any point will direct you to the sign-in screen where you'll see a 10-32 error. At this point, you'll want to force close the Sling app and relaunch to sign back in
