College football is back!

We’ll have plenty of action on Sling TV for you to keep up with this season, so check below for details on how to see the most games.

What services and channels do I need to watch college football?

If you’re new to Sling TV this football season, the easiest way to see the most games is by adding the Sports Extra add-on to either your Sling Orange or Sling Blue subscription.

Several channels in both services will broadcast college football games this season.

Note: If you'd like to view college football games on Sling TV from your smartphone, for the best viewing experience, make sure to enable location services:

  • From the device home screen, tap Settings

  • Select Privacy > Location Services > Sling TV

  • Ensure that While Using the App has a check mark next to it
  • Tap the Settings icon

  • Select Location > Google Location Reporting > Location Reporting

  • Toggle the switch to ON

Will college football games be blacked out?

Note: Some games me be blacked out due to local blackout rules, or because Sling TV doesn't have the rights to broadcast that game. Impacted subscribers will not be able to watch the game unless it is also on a local broadcast network, available either through your Sling TV subscription, or with an over-the-air antenna.

If you receive an on-screen blackout message when trying to watch a game on ESPN, you can watch your game on ESPN3, which is included with your Sling Orange subscription. Click here for details on how to find your game on ESPN3.
