I have purchased Cloud DVR. Why can't I record?

If you are subscribed to Cloud DVR “First Look” but you are not able to record, please make sure you are using the most recent version of the Sling TV app.

To update the Sling TV app on your Amazon Fire TV or Fire tablet, start by visiting the device home screen.



Scroll over to Settings.

Scroll all the way to the end of the Settings ribbon to find My Account.

Now select Sync Amazon Content.



Once Amazon content is synced, check back into the Sling TV app. Click on a show you would like to record. If you are presented with the option to record, your app is updated. Now it’s time to start recording!
